1. Joining Harpenden CC


Harpenden CC uses Pitchero to manage all facets of our club including team availability/ selection, event management, club news, fixtures and memberships and so creating a Pitchero account is an essential part of being a member of Harpenden CC.

Pitchero is a single login platform that enables the user to access multiple clubs from a single account/email address.
If you have used Pitchero in the past you will need to login using the email address you have used previously before joining the club.

Please Note: Full access to the club and some website features (such as the purchase of Membership packages from the Shop) will not be available until your request has been approved.

Signing up with Harpenden CC

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE A SMOOTH SIGN UP PROCESS

Step by Step process for signing up to Pitchero at Harpenden CC

  1. Navigate to - https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/harpendencricketclub/signup
  2. Confirm your preferences: Terms of Service and Harpenden Cricket Club Consent are required fields so please ensure they are ticked.
  3. Select a ROLE that best fits your engagement with the club. Members can be assigned more than one Role so please select all which apply to your membership. (e.g If you are a Parent and a Player please select both options). Details on roles can be found below.

Club MemberClub Members are not associated with a team and are often non-playing members whom the club wish to allow access to the privately posted contentSocial Members and supporters of Harpenden CC
PlayerPlayers are allocated to specific teams, and can then respond to availability and selection requests.Senior, Student or Youth players (Age 25 or under on 1st May of the upcoming new season) who will play for a Senior Mens or Womens team.
ParentParents are responsible for managing their child's unregistered account, including responding to availability and selection requests, messages and paymentsParents/Guardians of Junior players at Harpenden CC (Under 8’s - Under 15’s).
CoachCoaches are allocated to specific teams by Harpenden CCThis role is assigned by Harpenden CC administrators and will not be granted to requesters.
Team AdminTeam Admins are allocated to specific teams and manage their own team through the club control panel and Manager app.This role is assigned by Harpenden CC administrators and will not be granted to requesters.
WebmasterWebmasters have full access to administer the HCC siteThis role is assigned by Harpenden CC administrators and will not be granted to requesters.

Next Steps - Senior Players

In order to complete your sign up as a player, please select the team with whom you will be playing.
If you do not know which team, select "Not a player" and a team will be allocated for you by the club.

Two things will now happen:

  1. Your account will now be created and an account confirmation email sent to your stated email account.
  2. Your membership request will be automatically sent for approval by Harpenden CC admins.

Next Steps - Parent

Please Note: Each Parent/Guardian must sign up separately with a unique email address for each account prior to purchasing the membership package.

Each of these accounts can then be associated with your child's account.
If this is the first time you are signing up, you will need to create a new entry for your children.

  1. Start by typing your child's name (you will need at least the first 3 letters of their name) and the system will show any matches.
  2. If no matches appear, click on the option : Click here to add a new member.
  3. If you know the team your children will be playing in, please select from the list.
  4. If you do not know or are unsure which team you will be playing in, select a team from your child's age group. If incorrect, a correct team will be allocated by the Age Group Managers.

Two things will now happen:

Adding Additional Juniors to your Parent Account.

Website

  1. On the website homepage click "Your Account"
  2. Then, In the sub-menu Click "Your Account"
  3. Click the "Manage Roles" option
  4. Navigate to the "Parent of" section and click "Manage"
  5. You can use the "Add Child" button to add additional Juniors to your account.
  6. Start typing your child's name (at least the first 3 letters) to populate the field. If your child is not yet set up in the system an option will appear to create a new junior entry -
  7. "Can’t find the member you’re looking for? Click here to add a new member."
  8. Select this to add a new child to your account

Pitchero App

  1. Click on the account picture on the top right of the screen
  2. Select "My Roles"
  3. Navigate to the "Parent of" section and click "Manage"
  4. You can use the "Add Child" button to add additional Juniors to your account.



Payment

Once approved you will be required to pay for your membership. Please review the Membership Package Overview section for more information.
