1. Junior Cricket at Harpenden

HARPENDEN CRICKET CLUB INVITES LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS TO GIVE CRICKET A GO THIS YEAR.

The Club has a wonderful, friendly junior section with over 300 boys and 100 girls.
Children as young as 5 learn the basics of the game whilst having fun with their friends.

COACHING

All of our juniors are coached for an hour each week throughout the summer months (April - July) by Scott Galloway, our 1st XI opening bat and ECB Level 3 coach, and his team of qualified ECB coaches.
These sessions are included as part of the Junior membership package.

Scott also runs indoor Winter and Spring nets from October to April at Roundwood School, Harpenden. These sessions are subject to an additional fee.

HOW TO JOIN

Boys can join the club from Year 3 onwards.
Those in Years 1 and 2 should join the All Stars programme. Girls can join from Year 5 with younger ones encouraged to join the Dynamos programme.

EQUIPMENT

School years 3&4 (U8's and U9's) will play soft-ball cricket and so all they will need is a bat (plastic or wood) and their enthusiasm.

  • Batting Gloves
