Have you ever fancied helping out on match days with a few hints and tips for the Juniors, or maybe setting up some pre-game activities and helping to run the match?

Hertfordshire Cricket, in conjunction with the ECB, have recently announced a number of coaching sessions over the Spring period in our local area.

ECB Foundation Coach (or Level 1)

This is a great course for those wanting to get involved as there are no requirements to have
played or coached cricket previously, just a love for the game and a desire to see our Junior boys and girls have fun and enjoy the game.
The courses are run on two Sundays over consecutive weekends and are a blend of theoretical and practical sessions. This course focuses more on enjoyment and engagement and building confidence than honing specific skills so it's a great jumping-off point for Junior coaches.

In addition to the standard courses, the ECB also runs a Female-only session at Brookmans Park. I have attended one of these courses and it was excellent and I can thoroughly recommend it!
